Hi, my name is Scott Nelles and welcome to my woodturning website!

Not long after retiring here to beautiful San Diego, I discovered the wonderful art of working with wood on a lathe. Turning wood is now my passion. As a resident of the Seven Oaks community in Rancho Bernardo, I'm a proud member of the Rancho Bernardo Woodcrafters Club, in addition to being a member of the American Association of Woodturners.

I hope you like what you see in my site. My work is constantly evolving, as I hone my skills daily. Woodturning is a rewarding craft. I've met many wonderful turners (in person and online) who have generously taught me so much!
